I noticed that Boston university only takes the gpa from the last 60 credits of undergrad...for someone like me who got off to a rough start in college this could be good. What other schools do this?

Are you actually asking whether your first two years' coursework will count towards your GPA for purposes of applying to grad school? If so, yes, it will, but it might not be cataclysmic if you aspire to a terminal masters degree, or use a masters program to excel and prove you can handle grad level work.

That's not necessarily true, it depends on the institution. Many graduate programs only care about the last 60 credits/two years of study when applying to graduate school, at least in Canada anyway.

Even the places that asked me for my last 60 hours ALSO asked for my full GPA. I wouldn't count on "getting out of your GPA" unless perhaps, as wig mentioned, you complete a terminal masters.... (And then they still asked me for my full GPA, last 60 hours of undergrad, and grad school GPA, so they're still looking at everything...)

* And I'm referring to U.S. schools.

I think I might've applied to one program that asked only for the GPA of my last 60 hours, although they received my transcripts, so they of course had access to my overall GPA. Don't remember which program it was, though, so unfortunately I can't help the OP there.
