I've been studying throughout the semester but I haven't been able to get an A on any of the exams. I don't know if I'm going about studying wrong or if my peanut brain just can't do rote memorization.

So I have a few days until my final cumulative exam to dedicate just to studying biology, any tips? I've been using Anki for the past week and I feel like it's helping but I don't know if it's enough

Review tests/quizzes if you have them.
I usually (and am trying to currently, I shouldn't be on SDN :yeahright:) go through each chapter and write the MAIN concept. I write them all on one sheet, and go through and talk about them (usually 2-3 minutes/topic, 40ish topics depending on the course) to my fish that sits on my desk, only because he never talks back to me. It helps not only to SEE how much you've remembered, but also hearing yourself talk can sometimes help nail down tough concepts 🙂

Review tests and recitation notes (if you have them). Just took a final today and one of the questions was directly from the first midterm so you never know

If there is time, try stopping by your professors office to go over past exams. This gives you an opportunity to ask questions about things you got wrong and to receive further clarification on things you didn't understand.

It sounds obvious, but a pretty high yield method is to try to identify overlap between areas where you're weak and areas that are heavily tested on --> spend most of your time there.

The ends of each chapter in your text should have summary portions, broken down by section. Go through these and see if anything is unfamiliar. Identify those sections and refer to the text for clarification. That's much quicker than reading through each chapter front to back.

what kind of bio class is this?

Use Anki.

Also if you space out your time and give yourself ample time, classes with rote memorization should be a piece of cake.
