Last quarter GPA might go down slightly, submit AMCAS with current grades?

I currently have a cGPA: 3.72/sGPA: 3.67, but it might move to a 3.71/3.65 after this quarter given the outlook of my current classes (which more much more challenging this quarter). I've had a strong upward GPA trend my past few years and I don't want to mess that up with the last quarter of my undergrad.

Should I simply put down the courses I am taking right now as "current" and submit the AMCAS with the transcript that doesn't include this round of courses? Or will medical schools eventually request those grades anyways and it wouldn't matter. Thank you!

The gpa is the same for all intents and purposes. The upward trend can't be affected that much. I would call it a tie and wouldn't factor it in my decision

GPAs of 3.71/3.65 are high enough that your transcript probably won't undergo microanalysis. Also, keep in mind that the GPA display adcomms will look at is reported year by year, not term by term, so a less-strong quarter won't be so obvious.

UPDATE: Thanks for all the feedback. I actually sat down and re-did the math with the AMCAS GPA Calculator and found that in reality, my sGPA would increase from 3.63 to 3.66, with not much of a change with my cGPA. Is this small jump worth waiting until June 26 to order my final transcripts and jump into the verification cue? Or should I submit with a 3.63 sGPA (which at some schools I'm very interested in is slightly lower than the 25th percentile for sGPA).

I think the consensus is that the change doesn't really effect much. .01 changes in GPA are pretty minor.
Take a breath and don't worry. Your app is safe.
