Hey everyone;
I am scheduled to take the DATs this friday (22nd). Are there any last tips that could be offered to ensure a smooth confident test day?

1. SLEEP THE NIGHT BEFORE! this is very very very important!

2. Eat Breakfast

3. Make sure you take a snack with you (eg. gronala bar) and juice/water for your 15min break, you basically have enough time to go bathroom, and have a bite to eat if you bring it with you...

4. Just relax, dont panick, the test is very straight-forward. everything is all there at the back of you head, dont worry about last minute study notes

GOOD LUCK :luck:

I found it helpful to review stuff I knew I was weak on the night before and the morning of I reviewed stuff I felt confident on. Reviewing the stuff I thought I knew was helpful in giving me a confident attitude walking into the test.

Dont drink too much water. I tried staying hydrated, but drank so much that I had to rush the end of the second section to pee! And def. bring healthy food, might as well bring more than you need just in case, worst case is you take the left overs home

do everything everyone else has said (not sure about the masturbation) but I wish you the best of luck...

Hey guys,

I was wondering if anyone could provide some input about a situation i'm in regarding my DAT scores. My GPA is ~3.4 and i have loads and loads of extracurric/volunteer/job experience.. but, i totally screwed up my DAT (15AA) !!! I'll be applying in MAY/June through AADSAS, and the next Canadian DAT is offered in November. B/c of my DAT scores, am i screwed for this cycle?

- thanks so much for any input

Relax. Remember that even if you don't do as well as you would like, the test is not the end of the world.

Hate to break this to you but "15" in American DAT is really low (I don't know how Canadian DAT is). If I were you, I would still apply but re-take DAT in June or July.

The schools will not think much of your 3.4 GPA because your DAT is so low.
