Does anyone know the latest date most schools accept PCAT scores? If I took my PCAT in December, would that be too late to apply to the fall 2009 year?

No that wouldn't be to late. Some schools accept even jan pCATs. However I would suggest taking it in August if you can because of significant competition otherwise in applying to schools.

I would check with the schools you plan on applying to because the ones with earlier deadlines won't accept PCATs taken that late. Usually the info is posted on their site.

The last PCAT for the year 2008 is in October and then again next year in January ...

Some of the March deadline schools as well as the lenient schools that allow you some slack will accept the January PCAT. Realistically though, the October PCAT is the de facto "last time" to take the test for an upcoming pharmacy school year. Most schools have deadlines around or before the time the January test occurs and the date that the school receives the score.

It's rather inadvisable to take the January 2009 PCAT if you want a decent chance to get into pharmacy schools for the 2009-2010 school year.
