Hey all,
Congratulations on the people getting off their waitlists. I really hope I do too. Tufts is driving me crazy. They give as little information as possible just to spite me or something. Anybody know what's going on there this late in the game?

I'm currently holding a position over at MCW right now. Does anybody know when the last date I can officially withdraw to swith over to Tufts (knock on wood) and still receive all my fin aid back? I know that MCW orientation starts August 9th, and classes begin on August 16th.

Also, do you think it's too late for me to send out a letter of intent to tufts? what should i include? aside it being a good school, my best friend goes there, my brother is on the east coast, and i like it's proximity to chinatown (gotta have my food). are those personal reasons enough?

well, thanks everybody
and let's hope the waitlists keep moving

i'd write about the "selective" program as well as the clinicals at NEMC.

my understanding is that once you start orientation at a particular school, you cannot remain on the waiting list for other schools. so in your case, if you do not get off the waiting list from tufts by august 9, and you arrive for orientation at mcw, you have basically forfeited your chance to attend tufts.
