Hey guys,

Thanks for your help. So I want to submit my primaries in June, but I also wanted to retake MCAT in July. My first was 12, 11, 6 VR, so I definitely need to bring up the verbal... I don't want to jeopardize not getting secondaries because schools will only see my first score, so should I attempt to take MCAT earlier, as in May even though I am pretty swamped until then, or submit primaries later, or stick with the original plan?

I guess I'm a little confused about the timing, do you generally want to have the MCAT score you will use BEFORE you submit primaries, or is having a pending score all right? Do most school screen who they give secondaries to based on MCAT and gpa? My gpa is good 3.9 biology

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but as far as I know, schools don't start reviewing your file until they have all your scores in.

Some schools screen GPA/MCAT before sending out secondaries while others just auto-send it to everyone.
