What are the chances for a pre-december interview? verified october 16

24 TS/ 21 AA/ 21 PAT/Reading 16 🙁
SGPA 3.96 OGPA 3.99
decent amount of e.c and shadowing

GPA is great, that reading will cause you trouble with many places having cutoffs at 17. Even then, 17 might be a bit iffy to them.

Maybe just try applying to your state schools? If you aren't accepted there, then maybe wait it out till next cycle?

This is pretty late in the game; it might even be difficult to get pre-dec interviews in state schools. I'm sure you'll get post-Dec's though. Your only red flag is your RC, but other than that your stats are pretty good.

Definitely do not JUST apply to your state school. Do, no reason not to since you never know, but if you want a chance for this cycle there are a number of private schools that have later timelines that you could probably get an interview to.

I'd say your chances for a pre-Dec interview are very small, post-Dec, depends on what else is on your application. The 16 is going to kill you at many schools since they have a minimum of 17.
