Is it too late to apply for family medicine/internal medicine residency in late November?
If so, why do the programs allow you to apply till Jan/Feb when most of the interview spots are filled up by oct/november?

Unless you are strong US MD senior candidate (good grades, Steps > 50th percentile), yes it’s too late.

Ignore the “apply by” dates out there by programs, they’re sort of meaningless.
