I know everyone in SDN is really serious about applying early and most of you guys were prob submitted your secondaries last month, but I'm still wondering if i'm late in the game.

I was verified on 7/26, sent my lors 8/4 and submitted most of my secondaries between 8/1-8/18. I'm still finishing up on secondaries and will be done with all of them by the end of this week.

How late am I in the game, for top 20 schools? Will this seriuosly affect my chances? 😕

But you really need to CHILL OUT!

dude... most of the top 20 schools are non-rolling so it doesn't matter anyway.

I've still got like 6 secondaries to go.

:scared: :scared: You're NEVER gonna get into med school now!! :scared: :scared:

Seriously, you need to relax and stop spending so much time on SDN. There are people who haven't even submitted their primary yet.

Relax and think of all the August MCATers like myself. We won't even hear about interviews until October at the earliest.
CHILL!!!

It's not a big deal at all. Yes, some schools have started sending interview invites, but a few places I have called have not even started reviewing apps. They were worrying about the entering class. So you are fine.

if you're going to be done with your secondaries before the end of august, you are in the middle of the pack, if not ahead of it. it's mostly the TX schools that are making you think, you're behind. the vast majority of interviews are to begin a month or two from now. chill out and go do something non-medicine related.

oh and don't rush through those secondaries because you think "OMG if i don't do this today, i'll be DOOOOOMMOEDDDDD!"
