Late interview invites

I know it's getting relatively late. Anybody been getting interview invites in the last week or so? Do schools have many interview slots remaining? Will most the slots be in January and February?

I got one this past Thursday for Dec. 2 at Baylor. There's still time! It's definitely getting later in the season, but I don't think it's late enough to lose hope. At least not until like the end of December. I believe that a lot of schools are probably only around half way done with actual interview days.

Depends on the school and its not late. Many schools send out IIs through April. I got one Friday afternoon scheduled for 11/28. Many schools will send out as many acceptances as they have seats by Jan 1st, but many of those will be declined.

I'm sure there are exceptions, but I believe most schools are done interviewing in late Feb/early March

I interviewed at 6 schools after January 1st. It's still October. Calm your tits.

I friend of mine just got an interview at Duke this past week. Another friend got one at Yale also. A number of schools have really late interview seasons. Keep your chin up

it's not late. even if you've been complete for 12+ weeks, there is still time - although the total number of invites you might get will be lowish, and you should probably prepare for the possibility of a long winter on waitlists.
