Hello Everyone,

After four years of under achieving in school, I have decided to rededicate myself to education and pursue acceptance into dental school. I'm 23 y/o already and unfortunately never thought I would want to attend grad school, in result I don't have the strongest GPA (2.89). I have yet to take any of the required science courses, but am confident that I can do fairly well in them and hopefully take a few courses to buffer my GPA within the next year or so. My goal right now is to raise it over a 3.0. Is this realistic? What should I be shooting for? I have read a ton of the forums and found lots of useful information already, so I was wondering if some of you could give me some advice, or information about how important the gpa is to schools in regards to a student who is going back to school. Thanks for all the help!
