Hey everyone, I know it's Super late but I'm trying to apply to a few gen surg programs. And possibly prelim years. I'm from the midwest. Interested in a few academic places close by but will apply to community programs and feel that my best chances are at community programs since they seem to be less competitive.
Here are my stats: Step I 238 Step II 248; 1 first author paper (in family med), 2 co author papers (in oncology), and a few poster presentations.
PLEASE let me know if you have any advice on programs to apply to or what you think my chances are this late in the game. Or any advice would be greatly appreciated.
