Latest I can apply to Texas MD (in state)

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
You're still fine, time-wise. And please, please keep telling yourself that delaying until you're ready is the wisest thing you can do.

You mentioned a 515 -- What are your other full-length total scores? FWIW, with the rest of your application, I don't think you'll need a 515 to get accepted.

Please do not put so much pressure yourself. You've made a wise decision in postponing to April. Ignore the Kaplan and NS scores.

When you review why you got an answer wrong, how do you do that? What process, what steps, etc?

I used to have an excel spreadsheet that I went through every single question. I tried that for a while and it wasn't really helping me. I spend about a day going through the full length to determine what I missed and why.
okay that's a good start - do you see in the Excel sheet any commonality? maybe it's an overarching concept that is not well understood? Instead of looking at the rows as one line items, can you summarize them into things like "electrochem" or "stoich" ?

You're ok to hit the submit button mid-June for TMDSAS if you have all your paperwork ready and transcripts ready and your score will be released by mid-July. TMDSAS is very fast about processing applications b/c they don't actually do all the coursework verification before releasing to schools (unlike scAMCAS). FWIW, you may get URM-lite status due to LGBTQ, but don't bank on it. Overall your application looks good with a 512 MCAT though.

Thanks so much. I will be submitting my app for TMDSAS at the end of May. My essays are already written and ready to go. All I will be waiting on is my mcat score. I hope you’re right about that 512. I’d be thrilled to get into any Texas MD school. Hopefully my Spanish proficiency and willingness to serve the underserved will help.
