Hey guys. I have a quick question, and I can't seem to find a single answer anywhere online. What is it called when a nervous impulse radiates throughout various parts of the body? For example, when one suffers a heart attack, the victim might complain of chest pain and shoulder pain, this being because both of these regions contain structures innervated by the same nerve. Therefore, when the brain sends the pain impulse back out, both areas are affected, even though only one of them is really "damaged." What is this called? I know it is the Law of something. Please help. Thanks in advance.
