OK, I'm about to rant, and lecture (of course smiling and in a nice helpful way). I realize that SDN is fun, encouraging, and even helpful, but what it is not is an excuse to be lazy. You do realize that what people say on this forum is not gospel truth and most often is opinion. Therefore, when a question such as, "does Timbuktu dental school require Physics" or does "Mormon Dental Institute of Education require a deposit", you should go to their website, and look up their requirements, or call MDIE and ask Adcom what their deposit is. Do people expect posters to go look it up for you? Honestly, are you willing to base you undergrad class schedule on what someone on SDN said to you? I would not, because it is a great way to get screwed! People don't mean to be wrong or post false information, but there is a lot of false information floating around in these threads because it is what they heard from their brothers cousin's dentist who graduated in 1981 from TDS. Therefore, don't get screwed, look up easy questions, and call you admissions office, and ask the important questions that have definite right or wrong answers to qualified people. Bottom line, SDN addiction is only detrimental when it makes you lazy...be a good SDNer. With love...😍 🙂
