I've read in previous posts that some people HATE CRT screens while others find that it really doesn't make a difference. I was wondering what your guys' opinions are on the subject. Do CRT screens really make it impossible for angle ranking?
I'm taking my test in Fresno, which has CRT screens. Has anyone else taken it there? If so, what was the experience like? And more specifically, how was the refresh rate (was the screen flickering or anything)?

I took it on LCD and I liked that better. Maybe try doing a couple of problems on both kinds?

The refresh time wasn't the fastest at my testing center.. I think i freaked out a couple of times cause it'll give me just blank white screen while it processed my command.. but it's probably cause I was nervous and anxious at the time...

I would rather take the test on a LCD then on a CRT Monitor. The test site where I'm signed up for is a quiet location, gives you new markers, and noise canceling headphones and ear plugs. The only down side - CRTs and the old janky computers!

I took mine on CRT and i didnt like it much for the PAT section. I was practicing on LCD and thought it looked different (distorted) on CRT.
