Learning a new language while in the military?

As a GMO is their any programs in the military while AD where you can learn a new language? Just curious.

During the hour long AKO lecture at BOLC last summer the guy said they had it. Of course, that doesn't mean he was right. I was hoping to learn some basic Spanish, too 🙁.
They definitely killed Rosetta Stone. I think it was killed Oct 1st, with the new fiscal year.

Definitely a drag. I was working my way through a couple and they were surprisingly quick and manageable despite doing them over the network instead of local. Bummer...

Most styles of writing call for a spaces between each dot and a space before and after the ellipsis.:laugh: I couldn't care less actually, I just couldn't resist.

I learned a new language when I joined the military....however all the words have 4 letters.
 
Rosetta Stone wasn't completely killed. They only culled it to the languages they felt were most in line with the mission. Pashto, anyone?
