Hello,

This is just a random question but do you think learning Spanish is a good way to boost up your chances of getting a residency, especially if you want to do a residency in California? Most likely in southern california.

I think knowing other languages can only help you especially if you know Spanish.
 
Large hospitals and/or those in metropolitan areas should have translators on staff. I doubt it really matters.

the topic of another language every came up when we were interviewing candidates. We only had reservations for candidate that had heavy/hard to understand accents. If we can't understand the word that's coming out of your moth, it doesn't matter if you speak 10 languages. :scared:
