I am looking at my options for employment after dental school and there is a good chance I will do corporate for a few years. It seems that there is the potential to make more at Comfort Dental than any other corporate chain (even thought you have to buy a partnership). I want to hear from Doctors that have worked for Comfort Dental and then left to go and do something else. What was the process like? What was your experience? I have heard second hand that they make it really difficult to leave and that you can get screwed over when you leave. It seems to me that you should be able to sell your partnership (I understand seller pays 10% of selling price as a "transaction fee") and walk away. Is there more to it than that? Is it not that simple? I am assuming there will be things that I don't like with any job that I have for the 1st few years, so why not work at Comfort and make more money those 1st few years?
