I'm leaving the country for a month (Grandma's sick in Greece) what happens if I miss an acceptance call/voicemail? So I could miss the 2 week deadline to accept an acceptance?

Let your schools know that you will be out of the country and that the best way to contact you is through email.

1) Check with your cell phone service to see if you can pay extra for international calling service.
2) Forward your calls to a trusted other person with instructions on how to respond to a med school contact.
3) Be sure your snail mail will be screened by someone trustworthy.
4) Re-enter your application and change your contact phone number temporarily to someone who will be with you in Greece who does have international phone service.
