LECOM Admissions Question

So at this point in the cycle I have 2 acceptances - LECOM - Bradenton and VCOM - Carolinas Campus.

I am also on the waitlist at LECOM Erie. AACOM sent out an email the other day saying that the May 15th deadline is in effect for DO schools...so we must withdraw from all but 1 school we are accepted to.

As of now I have decided that PBL is not for me and therefore I cannot go to Bradenton. However I am still interested in Erie for LDP. Since I have already enrolled/paid the deposit at Bradenton, can I "transfer" my acceptance up there?

Has anyone been in this situation? I am wondering what to say when I call LECOM next week since the May 15th deadline is approaching and I also want to give up a spot ASAP for someone else to have.

What's wrong with VCOM? It seems like a solid program and Im sure its mainly LDP based.

I am very happy about VCOM and it is lecture based. It is a close 2nd choice behind Erie. I am drawn to Erie because I want to move to the northeast and the tuition is lower than VCOM.

Yes, you can transfer your deposit between campuses.

I applaud your reasoning in choosing schools. PBL is not for everyone. You need to be extremely self motivated and OK with very little structure. I personally would rather shoot myself then sit through lecture all day and deal with an erie winter
