Hi,

This is my first and only interview and I am really nervous! Can someone who interviewed answer a few questions for me? I tried looking at old post, but no luck. 🙁 So sorry if this is repeated!

1. How long was the interview?
2. Was there an essay portion?
3. How should I prepare?
4. Was there any curve balls?
5. Was it an open or closed file interview?
6. What was your favorite part of the day?

Hey! Just had my interview today so now I'm qualified to answer.

1. The interview itself was a group interview that lasted an hour but the day ran from 8 am-2 pm.

2. An essay portion?? Is that a common thing? I've had 4 interviews so far and absolutely no essay portion, thank goodness.

3. Know your stuff about PBL and have questions ready to ask about the school. Prepare yourself for a group interview but really it's pretty relaxed. Kind of awkward at first in my opinion but it becomes more comfortable.

4. No curve balls for me but I can't speak for everyone.

5. It was an open file but since it's a group interview they don't sit and grill you about certain things in your file because that would weird.

6. My favorite part of the day was probably getting to talk with the student at lunch and the tour. Ask them to take you by the creepy clown hallway if they don't. It's so strange!

Oh no I just realized I had somehow wondered onto the pre-pharmacy page. I'm so sorry!! That was for the med school. I'm embarrassed. I hope you find someone who actually knows what they're talking about to answer your questions!!
