I'm not sure Elmira has graduated a class. Wvsom is an old established school. Elmira may be cheaper. Newer schools haven't developed their faculty or developed a regional reputation yet for residency Program Directors, so matching a residency spot may be harder. I don't normally recommend newer programs because they have to graduate a few classes before the get all the bugs worked out with their curriculum and faculty. I would lean in the direction of Wvsom, but a tough choice.

Yes, Elmira is rather new and it is not exactly close to NYC.
