You're right, it does, but the school's website says differently. You can call the admissions office yourself to check, but I personally know people with less than a 3.3 who got in.

I don't know what that "osteopathic msar equivalent" you're talking about but from what you said it belongs in the TRASH. Like scpod said, there's a good number of people that do get in with lower GPA. Your MCAT is high so it should compensate nicely for your lower, but still good, GPA. It's a good idea to double check with the school's website if you're concern about anything.

That would be AACOM's 108 page College Information Booklet, I believe. It actually has a lot of good information. Like anything, however, there will be some errors.

Just an allo kid here dropping by to tell the LECOM-ers to say "Hi!" to Dr. Corso for me. He's teaching Biochem there now. I had him for undergrad, and I feel extremely well-prepared for Biochem in the fall!

Taken directly from LECOM's website:
"In addition to the above requirements, it is recommended that the applicant have an overall minimum grade point average of 3.0, and a minimum 2.7 science grade point average. Successful candidates typically have both science and overall grade point averages of 3.2 or above."

I'm not sure what you're asking but your GPA is above their recommended minimum. They will NOT throw out your application. You have a good chance of being accepted.
