I'm trying to register for classes at my community college but many of the General Bio courses are already closed. There is a few classes open, one which is on Saturday which includes lecture followed by lab from 8 am to 1:45 pm. Another is split into Tuesdays and Thursday from 3:30 to 4:45 with labs being from 12:30 to 3:15 on Tuesdays. Which class should I register for that I will most likely succeed in? I'm new to this college stuff and first in my family so excuse me if I'm not a pro at registering and class selection. Any advice would help. Thanks!

I would personally do the Tues/Thurs because you get to be in a lecture two days a week...how much of a self learner are you? I'd say that since you're new to college, take the Tues/Thurs as it's a more traditional week load. I had a class once a week in the fall and it was just an afterthought and I would sometimes even forget I had that class. Most freshmen need some structure and guidance especially since high school was 5 times a week and now you're more on your own.

Also, if you have a job, take it into consideration.

I am a really good self learner and definitely don't need guidance. I just want to know if doing it all in one day is tiring or if it passes by fast.

I would do the Tue/Thur one. With all day classes, often times retention goes down by the end of the day.

You DEFINITELY don't need any guidance? And how many college courses have you taken?

A class that long is not only boring as hell but flat out not a good idea if you have other options.
