I was wondering if anyone knows a lot about Albany med? In particular, if being a legacy means anything in terms of acceptance. I am applying , and my father went there, does this help me?

Dude, i'm sure having the legacy will help, but if you wanna really take advantage of the legacy thing, your dad should have gone to jefferson. They'll pretty much take anyone if their parents went there...unless you got like a 17 on your MCAT on attempt number 14...and even then, they'll probably still interview you so that your parents keep donating...

On the plus side, they did refund my secondary application fee on account of the legacy thing. I'm sure those $75 will come in handy when I'm not in freaking med school next year.
Sorry. I'm slightly bitter.
