Legal questions on COMLEX

Hi there,

There are some threads from a couple of years ago regarding this, but nothing really up to date. Basically I was wondering if anyone has any advice on how to prepare for the 'legal' questions on COMLEX. I've heard various things ranging from 'they're actually not too bad' to 'they are ridiculous and I don't know how I would have prepared for them'. Can anyone recommend any resources or strategies? It would be GREATLY appreciated!!!

The ones on mine weren't that bad, I only remember having like 3 or 4 total. I've heard from other people that they had quite a few more, just luck of the draw I guess.

The only one I remember was something about liability regarding a medical assistant refilling a script. There were a couple more, but I have actively tried to block COMCRAP from my memory.

I read up on EMTALA, COBRA, and general issues regarding malpractice (from FA for Step 2 CK). I don't think I had any questions regarding any of the things I specifically studied.

Im glad you posted-I looked em up on wikipedia-I would also know terms like respondeat superior, res ipse loquitor, etc

Agreed, I couldn't remember what the terms were, but questions involving those concepts were also on my test.
