I'm trying to make airline arrangements and I was wondering if anyone knew how long the whole interview day (interview, tour, lectures, etc...) is at LECOM Bradenton. Any help is appreciated.

I'm pretty sure that it only lasts from 8-12, and I dont think lunch (from 12-1) is manditory. I'm not 100% positive though.

Good luck to you.

I interviewed there a few weeks ago. and there was no lunch at the bradenton interview. They had snacks out on some tables in the room where we were waiting and that's it. Pretzels, pop, and stuff. At Erie, we did eat lunch with some of the students.

Got there at 7:50 AM. Read through their material. Socialized with the interesting interviewees and was lectured on PBL for 15 minutes. Interview was low key. Lunch was not provided, but there were plenty of snacks available. After my interview, I allowed plenty of time to venture out in Sarasota/Bradenton area (aka...the beach). I spent a few hours walking down the beach that day with another interviewee and can honeslty say that although the campus is very new, there are a number of aspects that make this campus very attractive. IF lecture based learning was available at this campus, I would not second guess myself about going to Bradenton.

I was there from 7:45am until 1:20pm. The first thing they'll do is a tour, then they'll talk about the program, then the interviews (while you're waiting for your turn they'll take you to the library and give you a tour of that), then you talk about financial aid, then the students come and talk. It was a long day...and make sure you eat breakfast, they have snacks...but no lunch 😛

Do they make you read a journal?

They made me read an article, then they asked me to summarize it during my interview.

How is the difficulty of the article? What do you recommend to prepare for it? How long do you get to read the article? Thanks again.

The article was fairly easy...nothing out of the VR section of the MCAT... 😀 They give you 15 minutes to read it. I just wrote down key points and looked over it a few times. Mine was about some new procedure to prevent re-clogging of coronary arteries after angioplasty...nothing major...I didn't prepare and I did fine with the article.

Good luck! When's your interview?

My interview is on dec 21 because that is after my semester ends. Thanks for your response. It really helped me.

No problem! If you haven't done so, check out the interview feedback thingy on this website...the questions they ask you will the same ones 🙂

Good luck!
