The nearest point that eyes can see can object clearly is 100 cm. You want to see a friend when she is 50 cm in front of you. What must be the focal length and power of your contacts so that you can see her?

Thanks!

100 cm = image
50 cm = obj

1/f = 1/i + 1/o
1/f = 1/100 + 1/50
1/f = 1/100 + 2/100 = 3/100
P = 1/f = 3/100
f = 100/3
