Less demanding California internship programs?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.

Has anyone heard of any programs for transitional or prelim for IM in California that are less intense/hour heavy for those of us with families? Which ones have a reputation for being more hour-heavy?

All internships should be assumed to be intense/hour heavy unless reliable information states otherwise. If you want to try to find the good transitional year programs search around SDN and the net for those discussing "cush" or "cushy" programs. These programs are very competitive, and particularly so when they are located in competitive locations. The caveat of course is that most of these programs are still going to be full-time most or all of the time.
