I thought I'd label this thread this way so it will be true all the way up until the first and we can avoid having new threads every day (or half day)...because let's face it, eventually we were going to be seeing 3.25 days, 3 days, 2.75 days...and the list goes on! Anyways, I just wanted to congratulate everyone for making it this far, and thank you all for being so helpful and so much fun! I'm the only pre-dent at my (tiny) undergrad school who is applying this cycle, so the cyber support on SDN has been really nice🙂.

GOOD LUCK to everyone, and I hope that December 1st makes all of your hard work, frustration, and seemingly endless waiting worth it!

Unless a bunch of people get into multiple schools on Dec.1st and immediately reject the excess ones, Dec.1st isn't really going to have an impact on someone like myself who hasn't had interviews... am I right?

You obviously won't get an acceptance but people will decline some acceptances and you can expect things to start moving along over the next couple weeks.

I would say March/April is pretty late. Interviews most likely in January/February. Look at predents to see past interview dates for the schools you are interested in. Also, this thread might interest you.

Most people probably wont hear back from schools on Dec 1st, because alot of school choose to mail their stuff, which takes a day or two. Some of them do not update their aadsas on the same day either.

I don't know about USC, but I remember Midwestern saying something about your status changing on the Midwestern website where we scheduled our interviews. Can anyone confirm this?

Confirmed. If you are accepted at MWU you can look under Accepted Student Checklist on the MWU Online website and there will be steps to complete. As of right now it is blank for all applicants.

Yep, I second this. At the interview, our tour guide said you can find out as early as Dec 1st if you're accepted via the MWUnet website. He also said the school will call the applicant, but most applicants will have already found out about their acceptances through the website.

I hate to get ahead of myself and expect something, but I do have quite a few interviews under my belt and they've all gone from fairly well to excellent. Hope I hear from someone! Best of luck to everyone as well.

Columbia sends a letter in the mail. I've heard that they send it out on the 30th, so you can expect it either on the 1st or soon after depending on where you live.

Nova does the same. And they told me they sent it out such that you will get it exactly on Dec 1st and even in some cases, Nov 30th 🙂
