20 inches of snow on the ground. The only patient in the ED is just sleeping here until morning when the roads are cleared. The last patient came in 3 hours ago and that one was a 9 month old with URI. The down side of all this is I'm not sure I can get home

I left CO earlier this year for school in upstate NY. Everyone here keeps telling me that we'll get hit with tons of snow, and I get excited for skiing, but the most we've had is rain. Back home you guys get 20'', it's the best ski season in years, and it's the year I get in...🙄

Enjoy it!

We actually had a little snow on the ground here but it didn't last. It's easy for zillions of people to get to the ED here and they do. Best on of the day was the 45 yo F with a CC of "fainting spells while sleeping."

hate it when that happens - you are sleeping peacefully and BAM! you done fell out.

my wife is scheduled to fly into denver tomorrow. not looking too likely.

docB, you actually made the news here. They were talking about snow in LV, but they had a picture of snow accumulating on some branches of a tree. We weren't sure if it was stock footage, or if they decided not to drive into town.

God.....that reminds me of the month I spent working in Wyoming back a couple of years ago. I must say it was the only time I've ever had my hand stick to glass due to the cold while I was INSIDE the building. I spent two nights sleeping in the trauma room because I couldn't find the employee parking lot to the hospital.....let alone my car. That would be because it was buried under a 10 ft snow drift.

Wyoming is the one state where you could nuke the eastern half of the state and once the fires went out, no one would ever be able to tell the difference.

In ned, I bet we got close to 3 feet-sick.

I went skiing at keystone yesterday but today is going to be f#ucking great.
The detox is quiet right now too.....
