So I am going to get str8 to the point, here are my stats:

uGPA: 2.5
Science uGPA: 2.35
MCAT: 32

I have received an F in one of my classes that was non science, I have repeated some science courses and earned the same C or B- Grade. I have taken many upper division science courses and some more to try to improve my science GPA, which ended up hurting me instead. This was 2-3 years ago.

After I graduated undergrad, I gave up on medicine, interned at Mayors Office, worked as a Kindergarden teacher and a summer school/camp teacher for ages 6-10. Started my own Internet Marketing Consulting business for local small businesses, worked as a SEO marketer for a large company, managed a team, created an eBook for coaches and Consultants to market their services online, and started a Nonprofit Organization.

After working and being in some kind of field I really don't like the "marketing" job/ lifestyle and would like to get back into medicine after trying other fields.

I am thinking of applying to Ross and SGU this summer and not even bothering with applying to schools in the US.

Let me know if you guys think I have a legitimate shot for a Carrib school with these stats and background. Also my goal is to be in Emergency Medicine, I would like to know if this is extremely difficult for someone who went to SGU or Ross to get into.

Hey, I know it has been some time since you posted this message. But, did you ever apply to any med-school? I am in the same position as you are and I want to know what my chances are. I have considered going to a Polish school as well but I am so scared to getting rejected. So, were you able to get into a med-school?

It sounds like you will be accepted to SGU's Charter Foundations program. It's basically a 1 term program that will integrate you into the medicine program if you do well in it. It's actually a huge help once you start your medschool classes and I recommend that you for it. Good luck.

That's a good MCAT. Have you looked at "medical master's" and post-bac type programs?

I'm not sure how competitive they are and how they would look at your grades, but the Caribbean should be a last resort for anyone IMO. Try that and look into DO school first.
