I just want to make sure I know everything about Brain.
I compared different study aids materials and sometimes they forget to list something. for example, even Schaum's didn't say anything about temperature for medulla but kaplan says medulla controlls temperature.

cerebellum: balance, hand-eye coordination, coordinating muscle movements

medulla oblongata: breathing rate, heart rate, blood pressure, temprature

Cerebrum(also known as cerebral cortex)
: processes and integrates sensory input(sense perception), motor responses, creative thought, Vision, smell, taste, hearing, voluntary movement, memory

hypothalamus: link between the nervous system and the endocrine system. hunger, thirst, sex, and anger drive, body pressure, body temperature, heart rate

*Do both hypothalamus and medulla control heart rate and body temperature?

could anyone tell me if i have wrong info or miss something?

i beilieve heart rate & other visceral functions = medulla....and temp control is definitely hypothalamus

Kaplan BB didn't list heart rate under hypothalamus, but Schaum's outline page 310 says hypothalamus control heart rate. Sometimes using different study aids at once confuse me like this but I want to know that I know the correct information to study.
