I just noticed that there is an MCAT chatroom here.

Why dont we take a break from hardcore studying, tonite: 8/1 at 10PM EDT

enter the chatroom, and we'll take turns asking each other open ended questions (dont copy direct aamc question b/c thats illegal), the first person to answer the question right gets to ask the next question. Itll be fun and interactive and a nice break from the monotony of studying for the exam.

Ill be in there at 10pm EDT tonite, hope to see a bunch of you

highly recommended if your exam week is next week.

This sounds like a good idea. My exam is on Monday (re-take from May 31st) and I feel burnt out with the traditional studying approach.

cool. Thanks. I'll be there at around 10:05 tonight. My test is monday too and I'm a first time test taker. I'm crossing my fingers in hopes that this will also be the last time I have to face the beast. lol.

It is 8:00 pm right now in California which is 11:00 pm eastern time, but I do not see anyone in the chatting room. Am I wrong with the timing?

I would say this went really well... asking questions then asking if people didn't understand the concepts behind the questions. Mostly just asked discrete-esque questions. Thanks to everyone who showed up!

Ended up going for two and a half hours... went over tons of acid/base, electro-cells, torque, work, power, decay, solubility... good stuff.
