Hey guys,

I'm trying to get my last letter of evaluation. However, my professor is at a cabin for the next month without stationery so her only option is via internet. Due to her limited resources, she can type the letter and send it to a neighbor to convert to PDF and then send it back to her. In this case, she won't be able to put her signature. Would it be alright if a signature was not on the letter? Thanks.

She doesn't have a digital copy of her signature???

I'd say you want to avoid that. Will it be on letterhead? That might make it better.

You could try contacting her department and have her stationery sent directly to her cabin.

I had actually suggested this idea to her. I apologize for the mistake, and I just received an email clarifying her situation. She is at a cabin right now and then she's road tripping for the next 5-8 days, and I am not sure where she is going after that.

It might be better to get someone else to write the letter.
