Hello,

I am a non-traditional reapplicant and one of my previous managers is writing me a letter of recommendation. However, she is no longer with the company and will be submitting the letter from a generic email account (yahoo). She said she will provide her contact number in the header if any school needs to reach out and call her for verification or anything like that. Would a yahoo email look bad on an app? Or am I overthinking it?

I asked this very same question to three schools and they all say it is okay to have your LOE from professor who retired. So you are in a right path.
