Hi guys, I was just wondering if in past cycles anyone who has written a letter of intent (saying they will sure attend if granted acceptance) before dec 1 and was not accepted from that school ? Thanks !

Lecom mentioned to write a letter of intent asap, it just shows that you're genuinely interested in attending that particular school. It doesn't guarantee any sort of acceptance, I could bomb an interview and write a novel about why I would like to attend a school but never be offered acceptelance.

Just wondering if anyone has had personal experience of feeling that they did well at the interview, was genuinely intent on going to that school, wrote a letter of intent, but still didn't get in ?

Since early decision is not practiced among dental schools, I really doubt letters of intent are a thing.
