I asked for a LOR from my supervisor at work. The problem is that English is a 2nd language to him, so writing a letter in English would be a pretty difficult task that I would not want him to go through. I opted to getting the letter translated by a professional translation service, but I'm not so sure on how to go about it. Do I get my supervisor and the translator to sign the student waiver form? Do I get it sent to AADSAS directly from the translator, or get the translated version sent back, and then get my supervisor to send it in? Do I send in both the Japanese and English copy? How would they know that it was translated correctly? Do I get the translation company to send in a letter of guarantee? Blah!
