So I added 4 letters a week ago and then printed the request forms and sent them to AMCAS. Today when I checked my application the letter entries are no longer there! I don't know if it was a problem with saving the letters or somthing...I've already sent the letters with the forms so what should I do?

Um... call amcas, I don't think any of us are able to help here.

Happened to me because I had already verified and forgot to resubmit/recertify. Just make a new entry and when the LORs get sent in, AMCAS will email you something like "We received a LOR that doesn't have an entry on your AMCAS". Then all you have to do is assign it to one of the new entries and all is well.

Thanks for your help! I have some questions though:
So the new entries will just have the same information but different letter ID numbers right?
Also how would I prevent the new entries from disappearing again?

Just re-submit your application, it will save your entries (and it won't delay verification).

Yes, different ID numbers, but so long as you name your LORs appropriately, you will have no problem correctly assigning LOR to new entry.

Add the new entries, then click the "Submit Application" button (presuming you are already verified and/or have everything complete and ready to go). It will take you through the submission process. Just click ok. Everything should save.

I see. So AMCAS will upload the letters they received as entries and I can just go to the letters of recommendation section and match those entries with the new ones I've created? Or would I have to do it through some other system?

I don't remember exactly how it worked, but yes I believe so. It's through AMCAS and it is very simple. Just make new entries before they submit the LORs and you'll be fine.
