Letter of Recommendation Follow-up Thank Yous

Ok,

It's late. I'm tired.

Excuse the fact that my subject line is really long.

I get wordy when I'm up late and I'm tired.

Did I mention that it's late and I'm tired?

I just wanted to know how people follow-up on thanking their LOR writers.

I purchased some nice "Thank You" stationery and then mail off a quick note after they tell me their letter is done.

Does anyone here do something cooler? quirkier?

I just sent emails saying thankyou. I also keep up with my writers and let them know how the process is going for me.
