I am really confused as to the boundaries of science professors. I heard it's preferred from letters from prerequisite courses. In my case, my two science professors are two upper year professors who have taught me interdisciplinary medical sciences laboratory and courses like inflammation in disease. These courses all have the prefix MEDSCIEN. Would this be considered science professors? (They have taught me for two years, and I decided to go into dentistry in my last year of university, so I didn't really form a relationship with my first year BCP professors)

You may want to call the programs you’re applying to and ask, so you get it straight from the horses mouth because that’s a tricky question.

Certain schools require it from certain classes and certain professors. I personally used my immunology professor and my DIS credit research professor and all of my schools were perfectly fine with them.
