So I am applying this cycle, and had a question about a LOR.
Last year I asked if my freshman English instructor could write it, but never thought about the fact that he was a PhD student (I called him professor so and so). I got and A- in his class, but I asked him because it was kind of an obscure writing class and only had three students. He knows my personality, likes, dislikes, goals, etc. I think he would be able to write a great and personal LOR; I'm just worried that the fact that he is still getting his PhD will be looked down on or won't be accepted.
I also never interacted much with my professors outside of science since I mainly took large intro or intermediate courses in the humanities.
Any advise?
