Letter of recommendation question

I am a Junior that's about to apply this summer. I have started collecting letters of recommendation. It looks like I will have a total of 4 so far. (1 science, 1 non-science, 1 hospital volunteer supervisor, 1 doctor). Am I S.O.L. because I don't have two letters from science professors??

As a side note: I have started to make a connection with another science prof. this semester but I have no guarantees yet. Any advice or comments on my situation?

I highly recommend you get that 2nd science letter. Many schools will require it.

thanks, is it better to get and submit a crappy 2nd science professor's letter of rec. than to have others (work, volunteer)?

Are you gettting a pre-med committee letter? That often takes care of the requirements.

Nope, my school does not write committee letters of recommendation
