Letter of Recs for DO/MD

If I'm applying to both DO and MD schools, do I need to ask my professors to address two letters separately to DO and MD to the letter service, or does a general "medical school" recommendation letter suffice? Thanks!

Personally...I just had my professors write about "medical school" since I wanted use the same letter for MD and DO schools.
