my school doesnt either but we do have a letter service system in the career center. and im sure your school has a career center.

so go to the career center or look at the website online and look for the letter service. you just register and pay them and they hold all your LORs and send them off to wherever you want.

so check that out.

Yeah, this issue came up for me last year and I found out that my school's career service center did have a letter service. Stay away from letter services that are not a part of your univeristy. I know there are at least several schools that will not accept letters from any service not affiliated with your school.

Many schools have career centers that won't serve as a letter service. This is more common at smaller state schools. My school didn't have a letter service. My solution was to get individual envelopes for the schools I wanted to make sure everything was perfect for(emory and mcg) and then I used interfolio for every other school. Every school I applied to told me this was ok, and I got interviews at several of these.

One school that won't accept any letters from interfolio is wake forest. But it's not like I was dying to go there anyway...yeah I may have applied if they accepted them, but it wasn't so important that I was going to have my lor writers send off individual letters to another school. I'd go with interfolio...they are reasonably priced and you can always check the status of each letter online.

I used them with no problems. I think Interfolio is great since it gives you control over when your package of letters is released.

This allows you to get your rec letters out as soon as you finish your secondaries.

My school encourages us to use interfolio.com and I believe it is a great service, it allows you to keep your letters for years and send them whenever you want. It is very convenient and I highly recommend it.

I really second interfolio. I was out of the country when I was piecing my recommendations together, and the convenience and speed was unbelievable. And you can call and speak to them if stuff gets messed up...

I agree interfolio IS a good service BUT...make sure you double check with the schools that your LORs have arrived.
For some reason mine never did at one school and I didn't bother to check and I had to re-send them, unfortunately more than a month later.
Of course this can happen regardless of whether you send with interfolio or not...

This happenned to me once also, but in any case, no matter what your letter service is you should check and make sure the schools received them. Usually the letters get lost in the mail or at the admissions office.
