Letter to request Shadowing an Anesthesiologist

Suggestions or tips on what to include in a letter requesting to shadow an anesthesiologist? My director of anesthesia asked for my work and education history so that’s been given briefly however I don’t want to write a letter that’s too long or short. Any tips or suggestions for drafting this request?

Well, if he's asking for both your work and education history, then you'd want the resume to include both work and college.

I should have been clear.. my director has passed on the brief education via personal communication. I didn’t want it to be repeated but resume sounds like the perfect way to present it

What kind of work are you doing? It maybe harder to get you to the OR than anything, with HIPPA and all the regulations. I don’t think you should be stressed out about the letter. Just provide documents requested. The other day we had a high school student came who’s the grandson of a co-worker from another department....

tl;dr. I don’t want to deal with the hospital. Submit your paperwork to the hospital on-time and get your okay from the hospital.
