I thought I'd get this question out there early...

Who should you send a letter of (continued) interest or updates to, the AdCom or the dean? Personal experiences/examples will be helpful. Thanks.
 
both. assuming the level of paranoia for most premeds, they will send out more than one LO intent/interest to the school they are targetting. you can send your first one to the adcom, then send your second one to the dean.

you mean the same letter twice or different letters to each?

Can you send letters of intent/interest before you have an interview (aka before they invite you for an interview)? If a school is my top choice, can I just send the dean a letter telling him so without looking utterly paranoid, insecure and pathetic? I haven't hear of those who are not wait listed sending LORs? Anyone out there more enlightened them me?
