Letters of Evaluation/Recommendation

So I have a lovely little question here:

What exactly is required in the letters of recommendation? I have asked one person so far and I want to give him all the information he needs to write me a good one (and it will help when I ask for additional ones)....
I tried to find a format online for it- but alas (I love that word) I can't find one.... 😳

Did you want to know how to write a LOR or what you should give your LOR writer? Writing a LOR isn't too complicated. Just google "letter of recommendation sample" or "template" and plenty of hits will come up. If the writer just needs info about you, give him your transcripts, DAT scores, and resume. Also meet up with him and talk with him about your desire to pursue dentistry (sort of like a mini-interview) if necessary.
